The founder of The 1776® Community is Brock Fankhauser, a veteran of the home building industry and a second-generation residential developer.
Since 1998, Brock has developed 25 subdivisions and more than 1,000 homes in North Carolina and South Carolina.
In 2023, Brock launched a trademarked brand, The 1776® Community, and plans to develop communities that honor the traditions of America and where American Patriotism is woven into the fabric of each neighborhood. Every 1776® home displays The American Flag and each community features a home donated, mortgage-free, to an American Veteran.
