Bob Schultz and Bob Whitten would like to invite you to sponsor this year's SMA/i-NHSS Best Homebuilder Practices Summit conference on June 7-9, 2017. This is the 5th year of the Summit. In 2016 we had 180+ attendees from 72 homebuilding companies. Combined these companies built more than 6,000 homes for over $1.75 billion in revenue in 2016.

The conference target market is comprised of privately held small to moderate volume builders building 25-500 homes annually. A few are larger and a few are smaller. The audience typically includes company owners, managers and purchasing agents.

There are four tracks of educational programs offered:

  • Leadership & Financial management
  • Sales & marketing
  • Purchasing & Estimating
  • Construction Management & Customer Service

In 2017 there will be 42 classes of 90 minutes each offered by 30+ speakers from the best the industry has to offer. Our goal is to have 200 attendees and over 100 companies represented at this year's program. We have two tiers of sponsorship available for 2017. Tier one costs $1,000 and includes the following opportunities.

Tier 1: (10-12 available)

  • An ad in the program materials, website and notebook
  • A booth/table in the sponsored refreshments ballroom during the entire Summit. We provide the space & table (if needed), you work with AV/engineering for electrical and internet needs.
  • Signage for all sponsors in all 4 of the presentation rooms, the sponsor's refreshment room and at the registration desk.
  • Sixty second introduction time for each sponsor during the opening exercises
  • Acknowledgement for the next period until the next conference on the SMA and Summit conference website as a sponsor with a link provided to the website/page of your choice.

Tier two costs $2,500 and includes the following...

Tier 2: (3-4 available)

  • All of the above plus this year we are look for two sponsors for two special events
    • Lunch on day one of the event
    • Dinner for a subset of the attendees who are members of the SMA Coaching Group program. This program is similar to an NAHB Builder 20 Club. SMA has three of these groups with combined membership of 40 builders. We are hoping to have the majority of those 40 companies represented at this dinner/meeting on Wednesday night, June 7.
    • The sponsor for each of these sessions will have special opportunity to do a 10-minute presentation to the assembled group during that session.
