Charlie Scott has over 30 years of first-hand home building industry experience. Charlie’s home building career began as a salesperson for an award winning private home builder. Over the next 20 years he worked his way from new home Salesperson to Executive Vice President and minority owner. During this time he helped this company grow from 26 homes per year to over 550 homes and earn National Housing Quality Gold recognition.
In 2007, Charlie transitioned from building homes to building home builders. Since then, Charlie has worked with 150 of the nation’s leading private home builders and helping them maximize their Voice of the Customer programs. By listening to their customers, these builders increased customer satisfaction, reduced warranty and hard costs, improved employee satisfaction and dramatically increased referral sales rates, not to menion won dozens of Builders of The Year, National Housing Quality Gold, and America’s Best Builders awards.
He has recently retired but retains his responsibilites as a judge for the National Housing Quality Award Program sponsored by Professional Builder magazine. We are thrilled to have Charlie back to participate on the pannel discussion this prestigous award.
Charlie is a frequent speaker at industry events, author of “Construction Knowledge 101,” is a Contribution Editor for Professional Builder Magazine and a National Housing Quality Award examiner. In his spare time he runs 135 mile ultra marathon races.Back to Speaker List
