Ed Kubiak Lead Client Strategist, Higharc

Ed Kubiak, Speaker from Higharc

I’m a homebuilding professional with more than 20 years of experience across field operations, executive leadership, and construction technology. Over the course of my career, I’ve contributed to the delivery of nearly 2,000 homes, spanning both production and custom residential construction.

My career started on job sites at a young age, working for my father’s remodeling company, where I learned the fundamentals of construction from the ground up. I continued building hands-on experience through carpentry work during high school, which shaped my practical understanding of jobsite operations and sparked a lifelong passion for the industry.

I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from Illinois State University and began my professional career with Pulte Homes. There, I helped launch and close multiple residential communities, managed high-volume production teams, and oversaw the construction of dozens of homes per month. This experience gave me a strong foundation in scheduling, quality control, cost management, and team leadership within large-scale residential operations.

I later joined Beechen & Dill Homes in the Chicago suburbs, where I served as Vice President of Construction. In this role, I led land development and homebuilding operations and contributed to the successful delivery of more than 500 homes. During my tenure, Beechen & Dill was named Builder of the Year by the Home Builders Association of Illinois in 2011. In 2017, I was honored to be named to Professional Builder magazine’s “40 Under 40” list.

In 2019, I transitioned into construction technology, joining Higharc as Building Partnerships Lead. Higharc is a cloud-based homebuilding automation platform used by many of the nation’s top 100 builders to streamline design, sales, and construction workflows. Today, I work closely with builders to modernize operations, improve efficiency, and scale with confidence—drawing on firsthand experience from the field and the executive level.

I’m also deeply committed to mentoring the next generation of construction professionals. I founded NextGEN Builders, a construction mentoring group for aspiring construction managers, helped establish the first countywide NAHB student chapter for high school students in the United States, and have coached student teams competing in the NAHB Construction Management Student Competition at the International Builders’ Show.

I’m a licensed general contractor in Raleigh, North Carolina, and I’m passionate about advancing the homebuilding industry through leadership, innovation, and education.
