Toby Spade VP of Purchasing, Virginia Homes

Toby is currently the VP of Purchasing for Virginia Homes in Columbus, Ohio. He grew up in the family business of building custom homes and remodeling in NE Ohio. Although the past 13 years have been invested primarily on the purchasing and estimating side of the business, his construction experience extends beyond 20 years. Toby has had the privilege of working for a few very large builders including David Weekley Homes, Arthur Rutenberg and Betenbough Homes in Texas. He also was on staff at SMA for several years and still does occasional contract work. Toby is the “go to” person when establishing relationships with national accounts and analyzing costs. He has also been called the “Rainman” of purchasing several times.
