Ward Griffith started his career in the construction market working with his father in Houston, TX, and has spent the last 30 Years partnering with home builders in North America and Australia, assisting them in implementing solid business practices and the technology solutions that support them. These engagements have proved to Ward that well-considered and well-documented business processes are the key to profit, growth, and success.
“We begin every potential partnership with a home builder with a very detailed review of each builder’s entire processes, starting with the “plan” or digital model of the project”. Reviewing the architectural accuracy of the CAD/BIM plan is the beginning of a successful and profitable engagement, one that results in happy customers. We then drive the plan to a “lot-specific” / as-sold version, and show how it affects everyone upstream and down. Only then will we discuss possible technology platforms that may support and drive the builder’s overall workflow process.
