Potential Sponsors


Bob Schultz and Bob Whitten would like to invite you to be a sponsor of the 2018 Best Home Building Practices Summit on May 16-18, 2018. This is the 6th year of the Summit and in 2017 we had 160+ attendees from 72 homebuilding companies. Combined, these companies built more than 6,000 homes for over $1.75 billion in revenue in 2016.

The conference target market is comprised of privately held small to moderate volume builders constructing 25-500 homes annually. A few are larger and a few are smaller. The audience typically includes company owners, managers and purchasing agents.

In 2018, the sponsorship rates have risen as we are trying to improve the overall Summit from 2017 and before by providing a full breakfast each day to all participants and lunches on day one and two as part of their Summit tuitions. The event will conclude at 12 - 1PM on the third and final day and thus we only have two lunch sponsorships (tier 3) available.


Sponsorship Levels

BRONZE: $1,500 (10-12 available)

  • A half page ad in the program magazine and an ad on the Summit website. 
  • A one table booth space in the sponsored refreshments ballroom during the entire Summit.  We provide the space & table (if needed), you work with AV/engineering for electrical and internet needs. 
  • Signage for all sponsors in all of the Summit’s presentation rooms, the sponsor’s refreshment room and at the registration desk.
  • Sixty second introduction time for each sponsor during the Summit’s opening exercises.
  • Acknowledgement for the next period until the next conference on the SMA and Summit conference website as a sponsor with a link provided to the website/page of your choice. 

SILVER: $2,500 (3 available)

  • All of the tier one benefits plus this year we are look for sponsors for meals as we will be providing breakfast on all three days and lunch on the first two days of the conference.  Plus…
  • A full-page ad in the Summit magazine and an ad on the Summit website
  • A sponsored breakfast on one day of the event (first to sign up gets day 1, etc.) 
  • A seat as a panelist during the Summit educational program on new and emerging products.  This is a great 15 to 20-minute opportunity to be in front of a portion of the Summit’s audience. 
  • The sponsor for each of these breakfasts will have special opportunity to do a 10-minute presentation to the assembled group during that breakfast event. 

GOLD: $3,500  (2 available)

  • All of the tier two benefits plus…
  • A full-page ad on either the rear cover of the Summit magazine or inside the front cover (first come first choice).
  • Another full-page ad in the body of the magazine.
  • A double (two table sized) booth space in the refreshments/sponsors ballroom during the entire summit duration.
  • A sponsored lunch (day one or day two – first come choice) of the Summit complete with signage and a 10-minute opportunity to be in front of the entire group of Summit participants. 
  • A full program during the Summit to have a sponsor rep or speaker of your choice provide a combination of 75-90 minutes of educational material during which you can advise the audience of any features/benefits of your product.  Obviously, this program cannot be a commercial only as you will lose the audience who will be free to visit other programs being held simultaneously.  But we have never had the problem of not providing good content as well as informing the attendees about your product.

Sponsors get access to all educational sessions and Summit events for company attendees.
